Tell her tonight - Franz Ferdinand |

The past two weeks have been rather fair job-wise, because as I said, Monic was off on vacation. We had some sort of "spare manager", a woman named Lisa who's actually Rockland's manager. She was kinda sweet, totally untalkative and efficient enough. She was in charge of the schedules during that while and I ended up with twenty or twenty-five hours each week or something, which is all good.
Today I casually go to work and stop by to check my schedule, but I find out with discontentment that I have only seven hours. And it's Nada's handwriting. WTF now, I had previously told Nada that I wanted more hours! So when I saw her I asked her why the hell I had such a fucking little schedule, and she told me it was Monic who made it in the first place, she would show me something later.
Towards the end of my shift she showed up with the binder in which the schedules are stored, showed me my actual, seven-hours long week, and then took out a piece of paper, the real, 100% Monic schedule.
She hadn't scheduled me at all.
I don't understand how, as a competent manager, you could even think of giving away uneven numbers of hours to your several sales clerks, randomly deciding, "Bah, no work for that one this week." This makes it all clear to me now, she doesn't like me. I told this to Nada and she said, "Bah, who cares if she doesn't like you---I did the best I could and cut others' shifts so you could have at least a few hours, I'm sorry it's just seven."
So, that's it.
If stupid Monic can't give me the hours she promised me she'd give me, fuck it all. I'm quitting. Next time I see her, I'm telling her I'm outta there. For real. I won't choke. Anyway school's almost starting, I'd better have some fun with the few days I have left.
I mean, if she doesn't like me and would better see me outta there, I'd like it best if she fired me. Bah. Anyway, I'm leaving. No more bras and panties, never!
On a somewhat related note, I think I killed my right foot. I woke up yesterday and barely could climb the stairs, but it eventually worsened and now I'm hobbling while walking. Yay!
